Agrosulfur
Biogas desulfurization using BIOSULFEX® and BIOSULFEX® AIR technology involves conversion of hydrogen sulfide into elemental sulfur. The only by-product of this process is non-reactive and non-toxic sulfur pulp consisting of elemental sulfur and water, which can be used in agriculture (fertilizer production) and/or all industry.
Elemental sulfur is the smallest amount of waste that can occur in the process of neutralizing hydrogen sulfide. Other product or products of the biogas desulfurization reaction found in other methods are a compound or mixture of various sulfur-containing compounds, which often involves a high cost for disposal or neutralization.
In the BIOSULFEX® and BIOSULFEX® AIR technologies, the desulfurization of biogas or air is done selectively, which means that only elemental sulfur is obtained.
